  • Donation details: amount, cause selected, frequency, payment method and transaction reference number.

  • Processing donations and issuing receipts under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act.
  • Sending confirmation emails, donation receipts, project updates and newsletters.
  • Responding to your queries, volunteer applications and partnership requests.
  • Improving our website, services and impact reporting.
  • Complying with legal obligations, audits and financial reporting requirements applicable to Indian charitable trusts.

3. Payment Information

All payments are processed through PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways (such as Razorpay). We do not store your card number, CVV, UPI PIN or net-banking credentials on our servers. Only transaction reference numbers are retained for accounting and reconciliation.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. Limited information may be shared only with:

  • Payment processors strictly for completing donation transactions.
  • Auditors, statutory authorities and regulators when legally required.
  • Service providers (email delivery, hosting) under strict confidentiality.

Donation records are retained for a minimum of seven (7) years to comply with statutory requirements. Other personal data is retained only for as long as necessary for the purposes stated above.
